This workshop provides an overview of how trauma leaves survivors with invisible wounds. The behaviors and attitudes associated with these invisible wounds will be explored; and further, information about age related behaviors in relationship to child development will be discussed. Additionally, the First Aid Kit for Invisible Wounds will provide an interactive dialogue where participants will define how to use ‘first aid kit items’ to help trauma survivors. Age appropriate responses to children will be applied and practiced during the workshop as participants engage in practical case studies to assist them in their professional setting.
