Cathey Brown

Cathey Brown is the Founder and CEO Emeritus of Rainbow Days a national nonprofit based in Dallas.  She currently serves as the Director of the Trans4m Center, the training division of Rainbow Days. Since starting Rainbow Days in 1982, she has had a passion for helping children overcome adversity and reach their potential.  She is the developer of the award-winning Curriculum-Based Support Group (CBSG®) Program.  Rainbow Days has served more than 215,000 children locally and through the Trans4m Center trained more than 52,000 professionals and volunteers in 43 states, Ecuador and England.

A noted speaker, consultant, trainer and facilitator Cathey conducts workshops throughout the country on nonprofit capacity building and leadership development.  She is a Master Facilitator of Peter Drucker’s The Five Most Important Questions Self-Assessment Tool, was a Stanford University Center for Social Innovation Fellow, Frances Hesselbein Community Innovation Fellow, and a recipient of the inaugural Visionary Award from the Betty Ford Center.
