This workshop will discuss the differing definitions of resiliency focusing on SAMHSA’s, “bouncing forward”. We will observe some useful videos to help us better understand what resiliency looks like and identify Rainbow Day’s 5 Pillars of Resiliencies. These 5 Pillars consist of 5 Major Messages which include, I AM, I CAN, I HAVE, I WILL, I BELIEVE. Through these Pillars we will identify ways to continue building resiliency in our youth and families. You will add to the tools in your existing toolbox as parents, teachers, counselors, and concerned community members to better guide the children and youth in your life.
